Pink Matey’s
What can be said about COTH winter kid’s camp…high level teamwork, impacting, fun, and attention to memory making details, fun, fun, and more fun! The ministry to kids and the teamwork it took to make it happen was fantastic!
Our Logan girls’ tent named themselves the Pink Matey’s. They were cute little pirate girls, decorated with pink bandanas. Check out the contrast, our Logan boys tent chose the name and flag design, Wee Little Burgers…yeah I know…yuck! They had great time and so did the volunteers that were able to be there! Thanks for every person who contributed ideas, time, prayer and heart to create a life-impacting weekend for our kids!

The Big Give
I am so excited about the next sermon series The Big Give. It is going to stretch us and give us a chance to fulfill what God created us to do and that is to serve His people. We are going to have the chance to touch so many peoples lives in our cities.
Start thinking of ways that you may be able to help someone in need or just to reach out and bless someone. I can’t wait to hear of all the testimonies that are going to come in. I am looking forward to sharing them with you.
Proverbs 17:17 A friend is aways loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.

When Your Down Do An Outreach
On February 7th we had our annual Fun Day outreach at the Logansport Mall. Once again it was a huge success. The mall was filled with kids and their families. The inflatables were busy from about 11:30 till we pulled the plug on them at 3:00. We also had the blessing of having Mr Balloon man (Art) there which is always a huge success.
I was so encouraged by all the help who showed up. We were so bless by a special group of young men (6 of them from the 9th grade Logansport basketball team) who labored with us from the beginning to the very end. It was truly a team effort by all who showed up to work. Thank you so very much.
We also had a drawing for 6 free book bags filled with school supplies and one special monkey pillow. The familes who won this gifts were tolally blessed and very thankful.
I talked to 3 families who were interested in information about our church and also our Bible College (NCIBC). We also had people who wrote on the give away slips that they are interested in being contacted from the church. People all over our cities are looking for some encouraging words in these days and all we have to do is be there for them.
Outreaches are one of the most fulfilling things we can do for our communities as the body of Christ. Try to think of ways you may touch someones life in your city through an outreach and make it happen. You will not be able to walk away from it without being blessed yourself.
